Domestic wastewater; washing machines, bathrooms, kitchens, toilets and similar purposes are used in the sections used in the sewage are wastewater. Domestic wastewater is divided into 2, black water and gray water. Black water is the water that comes from the toilets of domestic waste water and contains septic waste. Grey water, on the other hand, is the part of the domestic waste water that does not contain black water, that is, the waste water from the sink, shower, bathtub and kitchen.

Grey water recovery system is a system that collects gray water separately from black water, purifies and re-uses the quality to be re-use water.

Approximately 40 of domestic wastewater is gray water.

Purified gray water obtained from gray water recovery can be used for commercial, industrial, agricultural and similar purposes. In other words, toilet reservoirs can be used for purposes such as laundry, garden irrigation, and car washing.
